21- ونرحب بقرار الجمعية العامة 62/209 المتعلق بعقد مؤتمر رفيع المستوى بشأن التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب، احتفالاً بالذكرى الثلاثين لاعتماد خطة عمل بوينس آيرس، ونرحب في هذا الصدد بالعرض السخي الذي قدمته حكومة الأرجنتين لاستضافة هذا الحدث في النصف الأول من عام 2009.

21. We welcome General Assembly resolution 62/209 for the convening of a high-level conference on South-South cooperation in commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Buenos Aires Plan of Action in 1978, and welcome in this regard the generous offer made by the Government of Argentina to host this event in the first half of 2009.
21- ونرحب بقرار الجمعية العامة 62/209 المتعلق بعقد مؤتمر رفيع المستوى بشأن التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب، احتفالاً بالذكرى الثلاثين لاعتماد خطة عمل بوينس آيرس، كما نرحب في هذا الصدد بالعرض السخي الذي قدمته حكومة الأرجنتين لاستضافة هذا المؤتمر في النصف الأول من عام 2009.

At the 9th meeting, on 12 December, the President reported on the results of his consultations and invited the Conference to consider a draft decision (FCCC/CP/2003/L.5), which noted an offer from the Government of Argentina to host the tenth session of the Conference.
41- وفي الجلسة التاسعة، التي عقدت في 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر، عرض الرئيس تقريرا عن نتائج مشاوراته ودعا المؤتمر إلى النظر في مشروع مقرر (FCCC/CP/2003/L.5)، الذي يشير إلى عرض من حكومة الأرجنتين لاستضافة الدورة العاشرة للمؤتمر.

Following a secretariat fact-finding mission to assess the proposed facilities, the members of the Bureau accepted the generous offer of the Government of Argentina to host COP 10 in Buenos Aires and, taking into account the availability of " La Rural " exhibition centre, agreed to a proposal by the Government of Argentina to change the dates by one week to 6 - 17 December 2004.
وبعد أن قامت الأمانة ببعثة لتقصي الحقائق بغية تقييم التسهيلات المقترحة، قبل أعضاء المكتب العرض السخي الذي قدمته حكومة الأرجنتين لاستضافة الدورة العاشرة لمؤتمر الأطراف في بوينس آيرس، ووافقوا على اقتراح قدمته حكومة الأرجنتين يقضي بتغيير الموعد بأسبوع واحد بحيث تعقد الدورة في الفترة 6-17 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2004، وذلك مراعاة لجاهزية مركز المعارض " La Rural " لاستضافة الدورة.
