وفي الختام، يُطلب من الأمين العام والوكالات المتخصصة والهيئات الأخرى في منظومة الأمم المتحدة تقديم المساعدة إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، لا سيما في المجالين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، ومواصلة تقديم تلك المساعدة حسب الاقتضاء بعد أن تمارس تلك الأقاليم حقها في تقرير المصير بما في ذلك الاستقلال.
