On 10 July 2013, Emina Kožljak sent a letter to the Missing Persons Institute,urging it to carry out an identification of the said remains without any further delay, and requesting to be kept regularly informed about the status and results of the identification process.

The State party specifies that since 1996, 135 victims have been found and exhumed and 120 missing persons identified, and it states that the Missing Persons Institute, with the support of the appropriate authorities, will continue to take all the necessary actions to find missing persons faster and to solve the case of Ramiz Kožljak.

196. In order to advance the process of tracing missing persons and to efficiently identify the remains of the missing persons, the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereafter the Institute) was established at the state level as an independent institution for searching missing persons from BiH and in BiH.
196- ولإحراز تقدم في عملية البحث عن المفقودين، والتعرف بكفاءة عن رفاتهم، أنشئ المعهد المعني بالمفقودين في البوسنة والهرسك (يطلق عليه فيما يلي المعهد) على مستوى الدولة بوصفه مؤسسة مستقلة للبحث عن المفقودين من البوسنة والهرسك وداخلها.

24. While acknowledging the State party's statement that the Institute for Missing Persons is fully functional and noting ongoing cooperation with the International Commission on Missing Persons aimed at the identification of missing persons, the Committee is concerned by the inadequate protection for the rights of relatives of missing persons and the delay in establishing a State-level fund to assist them.
24- تسلم اللجنة بإعلان الدولة الطرف أن المعهد المعني بالمفقودين يعمل بصورة كاملة، وتأخذ علماً باستمرار التعاون مع اللجنة الدولية المعنية بالأشخاص المفقودين الرامي لتحديد هوية الأشخاص المفقودين، إلا أنها قلقة لعدم كفاية حماية حقوق أقارب الأشخاص المفقودين والتأخير في إنشاء صندوق على المستوى الوطني لتقديم المساعدة إليهم.
