3. Objectives of the Social Protection Act

The Act on the social protection of persons with disabilities, and other legislation and Government decisions, provide the following benefits to persons with disabilities:
وينصّ قانون الحماية الاجتماعية للمعوّقين وغيره من التشريعات والقرارات الحكومية على توفير المكاسب التالية للمعوّقين:

These rights do not depend on income, and it is also possible to accomplish the right to pecuniary social assistance under the conditions prescribed in the Law on Social Protection.
وهذه الحقوق غير مشروطة بالدخل، بل يمكن الاستفادة من الحق في المساعدة الاجتماعية المالية في إطار الشروط المنصوص عليها في قانون الحماية الاجتماعية.

83. The 2004 amendments to the Law on Social Protection provide for new forms of non-institutional protection including, inter alia, Center for domestic violence victims.
83- وتنص تعديلات عام 2004 التي أُدخلت على قانون الحماية الاجتماعية على أشكال جديدة من الحماية غير المؤسسية ومن بينها مراكز لضحايا العنف المنزلي.

88. The Law on Social Protection stipulates that the state is the main provider of social protection for citizens and hence the state ensures conditions for its application.
88- وينص قانون الحماية الاجتماعية على أن الدولة هي المقدم الرئيسي للرعاية الاجتماعية إلى المواطنين وبالتالي فإن الدولة تضمن ظروف تطبيق هذه الرعاية.

146. The amendments to the Law on Social Protection provide that asylum seekers can be sheltered at an appropriate institution for social protection, i.e. at the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers.
146- وتنص التعديلات التي أُدخلت على قانون الحماية الاجتماعية على أنه يمكن إيواء طالبي اللجوء في مؤسسة مناسبة للحماية الاجتماعية، أي في مركز استقبال طالبي اللجوء.

These provisions were entered into the wording of LSP at the initiative of NOPWDS.
وقد أُدرجت تلك الأحكام في صيغة قانون الحماية الاجتماعية بمبادرة من المنظمة الوطنية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في صربيا.

Additionally, LSP prescribes the principle of non-discrimination.
17- إضافة إلى ذلك، ينص قانون الحماية الاجتماعية على مبدأ عدم التمييز.

202. In accordance with the Social Security Code adopted in March 2007, social security is the State system of financial support and social services for citizens unable to work or with disabilities, families with children and other persons, which operates on the basis of payments in the form of pensions, State benefits and social entitlements.
202- وبموجب قانون الحماية الاجتماعية الذي اعتمد في آذار/مارس 2007، يوفر النظام العام للحماية الاجتماعية المنافع المادية والخدمات الاجتماعية لغير القادرين على العمل، والمعوقين، والأسر التي لديها أطفال، وغيرهم، والفوائد التي تدفع نقداً في شكل معاشات التقاعد والبدلات والمزايا التي تقدمها الدولة.

The Act on the social protection of persons with disabilities covers education for adults and children with disabilities.
ويشمل قانون الحماية الاجتماعية للمعوّقين توفير التعليم للمعوّقين صغاراً وكباراً.
