Decides that the Climate Technology Centre, supported by its regional units and by the climate technology network, will:

The CTCN, because of its more complicated structure and operational architecture, started its activities more recently, beginning in early 2013 when the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the COP and UNEP was signed regarding the hosting of the CTC.

8. Acknowledges with appreciation the financial support provided by Parties for the activities of the Climate Technology Centre and the mobilization of the services of the Network.

12. Prospective hosts of the Climate Technology Centre must provide information in their proposals demonstrating how they will implement the terms of reference.

To be operated by full-time Climate Technology Centre staff and comprised of and supported by technology experts and practitioners, to undertake the following functions:

(b) The governance structure and terms of reference for the Climate Technology Centre and Network and how the Climate Technology Centre will relate to the Network;
(ب) هيكل إدارة واختصاصات مركز وشبكة تكنولوجيا المناخ وشكل العلاقة بين مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ والشبكة؛

Provide guidance to the Climate Technology Centre with a view to aligning the activities of the Climate Technology Centre with country-driven actions;
(ز) تقديم التوجيه إلى مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ بهدف تنسيق أنشطة هذا المركز مع الإجراءات القطرية التوجه؛

11. Requests the Climate Technology Centre to consult with the Technology Executive Committee on establishing procedures for preparing a joint annual report as requested by decision 2/CP.17, with a view to making their joint annual report available to the Conference of the Parties through the subsidiary bodies at their thirty-ninth sessions;
11- يطلب إلى مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ أن يتشاور مع اللجنة التنفيذية المعنية بالتكنولوجيا بشأن وضع إجراءات لإعداد تقرير سنوي مشترك على النحو المطلوب في المقرر 2/م أ-17، حرصاً على أن يتيحا هذا التقرير لمؤتمر الأطراف عن طريق الهيئتين الفرعيتين في الدورة التاسعة والثلاثين لكل منهما؛

The Conference in Doha selected a consortium of partner institutions, led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to host the Climate Technology Centre, for an initial term of five years, and established the Advisory Board of the Climate Technology Centre and Network, thereby bringing the Technology Mechanism under the Convention closer to full operationalization.
ووقع اختيار مؤتمر الدوحة على مجموعة من المؤسسات الشريكة، كان في طليعتها برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة، لاستضافة مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ لفترة أولية مدتها خمس سنوات، وأنشأ المجلس الاستشاري لمركز وشبكة تكنولوجيا المناخ، وبذلك أصبحت الآلية التكنولوجية المنشأة بموجب الاتفاقية أقرب إلى طور التشغيل الكامل.

As independent international organizations, both the COP and UNEP should have the opportunity to communicate directly in relation to matters concerning the hosting of the CTC.
وينبغي أن تتاح لمؤتمر الأطراف وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة بصفتهما منظمتين دوليتين مستقلتين فرصة التواصل بشكل مباشر بشأن المسائل الخاصة باستضافة مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ.

19. The Director of the CTC will serve as the secretary to the Advisory Board of the CTCN.
19- سيضطلع مدير مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ بمهام أمين المجلس الاستشاري لمركز وشبكة تكنولوجيا المناخ.

The Director and personnel of the CTC shall liaise, as appropriate, with the secretariat of the UNFCCC and other relevant international bodies on issues relating to the activities and operations of the CTC.
27- يتواصل مدير مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ وموظفوه، حسب الاقتضاء، مع أمانة اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ ومع الهيئات الدولية الأخرى ذات الصلة بشأن المسائل المتصلة بأنشطة المركز وعملياته.

54. UNEP is the host of the CTC in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and with the support of 11 other consortium partner organizations from both developing and developed countries with proven expertise in and experience of technology transfer for adaptation and mitigation.
54- يتولى برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة استضافة مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ بالتعاون مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية وبدعم من اتحاد يضم 11 منظمة شريكة أخرى من البلدان النامية والبلدان المتقدمة على السواء يُشهَد لها بالخبرة والتجربة في نقل التكنولوجيا لأغراض التكيف والتخفيف.

62. To deliver its services with impact, the CTC will need to be an agile, capable and responsive organization equipped with a world-class knowledge management system.
62- لكي يقدم مركز تكنولوجيا المناخ خدمات فعالة، ينبغي أن يكون منظمة مرنة تتاح لها الإمكانات اللازمة والقدرة على الاستجابة، ومجهزة بنظام لإدارة المعارف ذي مستوى عالمي.
