The overall strategic goal of this trust fund is to contribute to industrial development and environmental sustainability through the promotion of renewable energy for productive activities in selected developing countries.

In July 2010, Member States approved a total of Euro1,516,426 for the trust fund accounts on increased food security through agribusiness and agro-industry promotion and renewable energy for productive activities.
2- وفي تموز/يوليه 2010، اعتمدت الدول الأعضاء ما مجموعه 426 516 1 يورو لحسابات الصندوق الاستئماني بشأن زيادة الأمن الغذائي من خلال ترويج الأعمال التجارية الزراعية والصناعات الزراعية ومصادر الطاقة المتجدّدة من أجل الأنشطة الإنتاجية.

Mr. Yumkella thanked those Member States that had renounced their shares of unutilized balances of appropriations. Their generosity and commitment had enabled UNIDO to collect 5.3 million euros for change management and 1.5 million euros for the technical cooperation trust funds on food security and renewable energy for productive activities.
