5. Staff rule 101.3, Performance of staff, was amended by the General Assembly, in its resolution 53/221 of 7 April 1999, to specify that performance reports shall be prepared regularly for all staff members, including at the Assistant Secretary-General level and above.
٥ - فقد عدلت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٥٣/٢٢١ المؤرخ ٧ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٩، القاعدة ١٠١/٣ من النظام اﻹداري، أداء الموظفين، بحيث تنص على أن تعد تقارير اﻷداء دوريا لجميع الموظفين، بمن فيهم الموظفون من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد وما فوقها.

(c) Performance reports shall be prepared regularly for all staff members, including at the Assistant Secretary-General level and above, in accordance with procedures promulgated by the Secretary-General.

8. The current structure of the Mission consists of 44 positions: the Head of Mission at the Assistant Secretary-General level; the Deputy Head of Mission at the D-2 level; 5 Political Affairs Officers at the P-5 level; 5 military advisers; and 2 civilian police.

4. As indicated in paragraph 8 of the addendum to his report, the Secretary-General proposes to establish a post at the Assistant Secretary-General level to provide for a senior manager for the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (Habitat).
٤ - وكما هو مبين في الفقرة ٨ من اﻹضافة لهذا التقرير، يقترح اﻷمين العام إنشاء وظيفة من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد لتوفير مدير برتبة عالية لمركز اﻷمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية )الموئل(.

38. The Advisory Committee notes that the proposed staffing table of UNPROFOr provides for two posts at the Assistant Secretary-General level, while there are three Assistant Secretary-General posts in the current staffing structure.
٨٣ - وتلاحظ اللجنة الاستشارية أن جدول ملاك الموظفين المقترح لقوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية ينص على وظيفتين من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد، في حين أن ثمة ثـلاث وظائف من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد في هيكـل الملاك الحالي.

The Committee concurs with the proposal to replace one post at the Assistant Secretary-General level with a D-2 level post (annex VI, line item 2 (b)(i)).

٩ - أما الموظفون في الرتب اﻷدنى من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد فيكون سفرهم " بأرخص ترتيب من ترتيبات أجور السفر الجوي المتاحة بانتظام أو ما يعادل ذلك الترتيب " .

As indicated in the report of the Secretary-General on the reorganization of the Department of Administration and Management (A/C.5/48/72), it has already been proposed that a post at the Assistant Secretary-General level be redeployed from section 25 to section 31 for the head of the Office for Inspections and Investigations.
وكما هو مبين في تقرير اﻷمين العام عن إعادة تنظيم إدارة الشؤون التنظيمية واﻹدارية (A/C.5/48/72) اقترح نقل وظيفة من رتبة اﻷمين العام المساعد من الباب ٢٥ الى الباب ٣١ لاستيعاب وظيفة رئيس مكتب عمليات التفتيش والتحقيق.
