To achieve a world without weapons of mass destruction, every country must shoulder this collective responsibility and do its utmost to advance our nonproliferation and disarmament agenda.

١٠٢ - وفي شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٩، أكد المجلس اﻷهمية الحاسمة ﻹكمال برنامج عمل لجنة السياسات اﻹنمائية بشأن مؤشر الضعف، وطلب إلى اللجنة أن تواصل أعمالها وأن تبذل قصارى جهدها ﻹكمال مهمتها في هذا الصدد في دورتها المقبلة )٢٦-٣٠ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٩(، وأن تقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى المجلس في دورته الموضوعية لعام ١٩٩٩)٧(.
