يدعو مشروع القرار اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحــــدة إلى مواصلة جهوده، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي، من أجل تعزيز وتوسيع التعاون والتنسيق بين المنظمتين.

We appeal to the various organizations and agencies of the United Nations system to take the measures necessary to promote and expand cooperation and coordination with the Caribbean Community in the areas identified by these countries.

Requests the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in consultation with the Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, to promote meetings between their representatives for consultation on policies, projects, measures and procedures that will facilitate and broaden cooperation and coordination between them;
٣ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة أن يعمل، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي، للدعوة إلى عقد اجتماعات بين ممثلي الطرفين للتشاور بشأن السياسات والمشاريع والتدابير والاجراءات التي من شأنها تسهيل وتوسيع التعاون والتنسيق بينهما؛

10. Calls upon Member States to further increase their efforts and their budgetary allocations for Research and Development, and also expand their cooperation and coordination in this field, through interalia, joint ventures with a view to supporting their production of goods and services as well as their competitiveness in international markets.
10 - يدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى زيادة جهودها في مجال العلم والتكنولوجيا وزيادة اعتمادات الميزانية المخصصة للبحث والتطوير وتوسيع التعاون والتنسيق فيما بينها في هذا المجال من خلال عدة تدابير من بينها المشاريع المشتركة وذلك من أجل دعم منتجاتها السلعية وخدماتها وزيادة قدرتها على المنافسة في الأسواق الدولية.

٤ - تدعو اﻷمين العام إلى اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لوكالة التعاون الثقافي والتقني، بغية تعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمانتين، ولا سيما عن طريق تشجيع عقد الاجتماعات التي تمكن ممثليهما من التشاور بشأن المشاريع والتدابير والاجراءات الكفيلة بتيسير وتوسيع التعاون والتنسيق بين المنظمتين؛

٢ - تحيـط علمــا مع الارتياح بتقرير اﻷمين العام)١( عن تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٠/١، وتدعو اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة إلى مواصلة جهوده، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي، من أجل تعزيز وتوسيع التعاون والتنسيق بين اﻷمانتين بهدف زيادة قدرة المنظمتين على تحقيق أهدافهما المشتركة؛
