13- يشجّع كذلك الدول الأعضاء على مراعاة المصطلحات المستخدمة ونطاق الانطباق وفقاً للمادتين 2 و3 من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية، لدى وضع إطار يجرّم أفعالا متعلقة بإساءة استعمال وثائق الهوية وتزييفها لأغراض إجرامية، أو تحديث عهد ذلك الإطار على النحو المناسب؛

12- يشجّع كذلك الدول الأعضاء على اتخاذ تدابير، تشمل إذكاء وعي الناس، لتثبيط وخفض الطلب الذي يغذي الاستغلال الجنسي، خصوصا في أوساط الرجال فضلا عن سائر أشكال الاتجار بالبشر، وذلك وفقا للفقرة 5 من المادة 9 من بروتوكول منع وقمع ومعاقبة الاتجار بالأشخاص، وبخاصة النساء والأطفال، عند الاقتضاء؛

12. further encourages States parties to remove additional barriers to asset recovery by ensuring that financial institutions adopt and implement effective standards of customer due diligence and the identification of beneficial ownership and by establishing effective procedures for financial disclosure;
12- يشجّع كذلك الدول الأطراف على إزالة أي عراقيل إضافية تعيق استرداد الموجودات، وذلك بالحرص على أن تقوم المؤسسات المالية باعتماد وتنفيذ معايير فعالة بشأن توخّي الحرص الواجب من جانب الزبائن، وتحديد هوية المالكين المنتفعين، وإرساء إجراءات فعالة بشأن كشف البيانات المالية؛
