It is prohibited to use mines, booby-traps or other devices which employ a mechanism or device specifically designed to detonate the munition by the presence of commonly available mine detectors as a result of their magnetic or other non-contact influence during normal use in detection operations.

It is prohibited to use remotely-delivered mines other than anti-personnel mines, unless, to the extent feasible, they are equipped with an effective self-destruction or self-neutralization mechanism and have a back-up self-deactivation feature, which is designed so that the mine will no longer function as a mine when the mine no longer serves the military purpose for which it was placed in position.

5 bis. It is prohibited to use munitions or explosive submunitions that are exclusively designed as anti-ship munitions for use at sea, against targets other than ships which are at sea at the time of the attack.
5- مكرراً يُحظر استعمال الذخائر، أو الذخائر الفرعية المتفجرة، المصمّمة حصرياً كذخائر مضادة للسفن واستعمالها في البحر ضد أهداف غير السفن في البحر وقت الهجوم.

6. It is prohibited to use cluster munitions or explosive submunitions that are exclusively designed as anti-ship munitions for use at sea, against targets other than ships which are at sea at the time of the attack.
6- يُحظر استعمال الذخائر العنقودية، أو الذخائر الفرعية المتفجرة، المصمّمة حصرياً كذخائر مضادة للسفن لاستعمالها في البحر، ضد أهداف غير السفن الموجودة في البحر وقت الهجوم.

(a) It is prohibited to use any MOTAPM unless it is recorded in accordance with Technical Annex A, paragraph 1.
(أ) يُحظر استعمال أية ألغام غير الألغام المضادة للأفراد ما لم تسجَّل وفقاً للفقرة 1 من المرفق التقني ألف.

(a) It is prohibited to use any mine which is designed or of a nature to cause superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering. (Article 3.3);
(أ) يُحظر استعمال أي لغم مصمم لإحداث إصابة لا داعي لها أو معاناة لا ضرورة لها، أو من طبيعته إحداث ذلك. (المادة 3-3)؛

(d) It is prohibited to use a self-deactivating MOTAPM equipped with an anti-handling device that is designed in such a manner that the anti-handling device is capable of functioning after the MOTAPM has ceased to be capable of functioning.
(د) يُحظر استعمال لغم غير الألغام المضادة للأفراد ذاتي التخميد مزود بنبيطة مضادة للمناولة يكون مصمماً بطريقة يمكن معها للنبيطة المضادة للمناولة أن تعمل بعد أن يكون اللغم قد أصبح من غير المستطاع أن يعمل.

(b) It is prohibited to use mines which employ a mechanism or device specifically designed to detonate the munition by the presence of commonly available mine detectors as a result of their magnetic or other non-contact influence during normal use in detection operations. (Article 3.5);
(ب) يُحظر استعمال الألغام التي تستخدم آلية أو جهازاً مصمماً بالتحديد لتفجير الذخيرة بفعل وجود المكاشيف الشائعة للألغام نتيجة لتأثيرها المغناطيسي أو غير ذلك من التأثير عن غير طريق التماس خلال الاستخدام المعتاد لهذه المكاشيف في عمليات الكشف. (المادة 3-5)؛

(c) It is prohibited to use a self-deactivating mine equipped with an anti-handling device that is designed in such a manner that the anti-handling device is capable of functioning after the mine has ceased to be capable of functioning. (Article 3.6);
(ج) يُحظر استعمال لغم ذي تخميد ذاتي مزود بجهاز مضاد للمناولة ومصمم بطريقة يمكن معها للجهاز المضاد للمناولة أن يعمل بعد أن يكون اللغم قد أصبح غير قادر على العمل. (المادة 3-6)؛

(d) It is prohibited to use remotely-delivered mines other than anti-personnel mines, unless, to the extent feasible, they are equipped with a self-destruction or self-neutralization mechanism as well as a back-up self-deactivation feature. (Article 6.3);
(د) يُحظر استعمال الألغام التي تطلق من بعد، غير الألغام المضادة للأفراد، ما لم تكن مزودة قدر الإمكان بآلية فعالة للتدمير الذاتي أو لإبطال المفعول الذاتي بالإضافة إلى جهاز احتياطي للتخميد الذاتي. (المادة 6-3)؛

(c) It is prohibited to use a MOTAPM which employs a mechanism or device specifically designed to detonate the munition by the presence of commonly available mine detectors as a result of their magnetic or other non-contact influence during normal use in detection operations.
(ج) يُحظر استعمال الألغام غير الألغام المضادة للأفراد التي تستخدم آلية أو نبيطة مصممة بالتحديد لتفجير الذخيرة بفعل وجود المكاشيف الشائعة للألغام نتيجة لتأثيرها المغناطيسي أو غير ذلك من التأثير عن غير طريق التماس خلال الاستخدام المعتاد لهذه المكاشيف في عمليات الكشف.

7. It is prohibited to use cluster munitions or explosive submunitions that are exclusively designed as anti-runway munitions and that disperse or release explosive submunitions each of which weighs more than five kilograms, against targets other than hard-surfaced runways, constructed from mass concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt or a combination of these, or from an equivalent material which yields the same compressive strength.
7- يُحظر استعمال الذخائر العنقودية أو الذخائر الفرعية المضادة للمدارج، المصمّمة حصرياً كقذائف مضادة للمدارج وتنشر أو تُطلق ذخائر فرعية متفجرة تزن كل منها أكثر من خمسة كيلوغرامات، لضرب أهداف غير المدارج الصلبة، المشيدة من الخرسانة الكتلية، أو من الخرسانة المسلحة، أو من الأسفلت أو من خليط منها، أو من مادة معادلة تُحدث مقاومة جهد الضغط نفسها.
