]١ - للمحكمة أن تمارس ولايتها على أحد اﻷشخاص فيما يتعلق بجريمة من الجرائم المشار إليها في المادة ٢٠ وفقا ﻷحكام هذا النظام اﻷساسي إذا توافرت إحدى الحالات التالية:

(b) imprisonment for a definite term between twenty and forty years, unless it is reduced according to the provisions of this Statute.]
