At the 5th meeting, on 24 January 1997, Ms. Graça Machel, the expert of the Secretary-General appointed pursuant to General Assembly resolution 48/157 to undertake a study on the impact of armed conflict on children, was invited by the Chairman-Rapporteur to address the working group and to participate in its discussions.
٧٤- وفي الجلسة الخامسة المعقودة في ٤٢ كانون الثاني/يناير ٧٩٩١، دعا الرئيس - المقرر السيدة غراسا مارشيل، الخبيرة التي عينها اﻷمين العام عملاً بقرار الجمعية العامة ٨٤/٧٥١ ﻹجراء دراسة عن أثر المنازعات المسلحة على اﻷطفال إلى الحديث أمام الفريق العامل والاشتراك في مناقشاته.
