In the same decision the secretariat was requested to prepare a document to include a compilation of submissions by Parties contained in previous COP documents on this matter, including a draft to provide options for, and the terms of reference of, a multilateral consultative process, and a compilation also of those views submitted on article 27 of the Convention.

73. In the decision concerning the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol, it was stated that the Buenos Aires Conference of the Parties would consider suitable methodologies to address the situation of parties included in Annex B. Iceland had proposed a solution to that problem at the meeting of the subsidiary bodies of the Convention in Bonn a few months earlier.
٧٣ - وأضاف أنه قد ذكر في المقرر المتعلق باعتماد بروتوكول كيوتو أن مؤتمر اﻷطراف الذي سيعقد في بوينس آيرس سينظر في وضع منهجيات مناسبة لمعالجة حالة اﻷطراف الواردة في المرفق باء. وقد اقترحت آيسلندا حلا لهذه المشكلة في اجتماع الهيئات الفرعية للاتفاقية الذي عقد في بون قبل أشهر قليلة.

In response to the invitation by the Conference of the Parties set out in paragraph 11 of decision SC-6/1, the Chemicals Branch of the UNEP Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (UNEP Chemicals), in consultation with WHO, the DDT expert group and the Secretariat, prepared a road map for the development of alternatives to DDT.
13 - ردّاً على دعوة مؤتمر الأطراف الواردة في الفقرة 11 من المقرر ا س-6/1، قامت شعبة المواد الكيميائية بقسم التكنولوجيا والصناعة والاقتصاد في برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة (برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة/شعبة المواد الكيميائية)، بالتشاور مع منظمة الصحة العالمية، وفريق الخبراء المعني بمادة الـ دي دي تي والأمانة بإعداد خارطة طريق من أجل إيجاد بدائل مادة الـ دي دي تي.
