24. The fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety was held in Bonn, Germany, from 12 to 16 May 2008, with more than 2,000 participants representing 143 parties and their partners.

92. Furthermore, the participants in the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol will consider the work undertaken in the area of risk assessment and risk management with respect to living modified organisms.
