The General Assembly, in paragraph 3 of section III.B of its resolution 51/226, requested the Secretary-General to provide information on measures taken to ensure the equitable representation of Member States at the senior and policy-making levels of the Secretariat, to be included in the report on the composition of the Secretariat.
٣٤ - طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام، في الفقرة ٣ من الفرع الثالث - باء من قرارها ٥١/٢٢٦، تقديم معلومات بشأن التدابير المتخذة لضمان التمثيل المنصف للدول اﻷعضاء في الرتب الرئيسية ومستويات صنع السياسة باﻷمانة العامة وإدراج تلك المعلومات في التقرير المتعلق بتكوين اﻷمانة العامة.

7. Requests the Secretary-General to take all the necessary measures to ensure, at the senior and policy-making levels of the Secretariat, the equitable representation of Member States, especially those unrepresented and under-represented, in particular developing countries, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly, and to include relevant information thereon in all future reports on the composition of the Secretariat;
٧ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ جميع التدابير اللازمة ليضمن التمثيل المنصف للدول اﻷعضاء في الرتب الرئيسية ومستويات صنع السياسة باﻷمانة العامة، ولا سيما تمثيل البلدان غير الممثلة والممثلة تمثيلا ناقصا، وخصوصا البلدان النامية، وفقا لقرارات الجمعية العامة ذات الصلة، وأن يدرج المعلومات ذات الصلة في جميع التقارير التي ستقدم مستقبلا عن تكوين اﻷمانة العامة؛

3. Requests the Secretary-General to take every available measure to ensure, at the senior and policy-making levels of the Secretariat, the equitable representation of Member States, in particular of developing countries and Member States with inadequate representation at those levels, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly, and to include relevant information in future reports on the composition of the Secretariat;
٣ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ كل تدبير متاح لكي يضمن التمثيل المنصف للدول اﻷعضاء في الرتب الرئيسية ومستويات صنع السياسات باﻷمانة العامة، وبخاصة تمثيل البلدان النامية والدول اﻷعضاء الممثلة تمثيلا ناقصا في هذه الرتب، طبقا للقرارات ذات الصلة الصادرة عن الجمعية العامة، وأن يدرج المعلومات ذات الصلة في التقارير التي ستقدم مستقبلا عن تشكيل اﻷمانة العامة؛
