In keeping with its previous recommendation, the Committee encourages the State party to ensure that the constitutional review process addresses the need to incorporate the principle of equality of women and men, in line with article 2, as well as the definition of Discrimination against Women and to include a clear procedure for the enforcement of fundamental rights in line with article 1 of the Convention.
وتمشيا مع توصيتها السابقة، تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على ضمان أن تتناول عملية مراجعة الدستور ضرورة أن يجسِّد مبدأ المساواة بين المرأة والرجل، تمشيا مع المادة 2، وكذلك تعريف التمييز ضد المرأة وأن يشمل إجراءات واضحة بشأن إنفاذ الحقوق الأساسية وفقا للمادة 1 من الاتفاقية.

The Committee encourages the State party to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and to accept, as soon as possible, the amendment to article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention concerning the meeting time of the Committee.

32. The Committee encourages the State party to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and to accept, as soon as possible, the amendment to article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention concerning the meeting time of the Committee.
32 - وتشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على أن تصدّق على البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة وأن توافق، في أقرب وقت ممكن، على تعديل الفقرة 1 من المادة 20 من الاتفاقية بشأن موعد اجتماع اللجنة.

The Committee recommends that the State party introduce further legislative amendments to eliminate all forms of Discrimination against Women and adopt temporary special measures aimed at increasing the representation of women in public office and decision-making positions.
توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تدخل المزيد من التعديلات التشريعية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة وأن تتخذ تدابير خاصة مؤقتة بغية زيادة تمثيل المرأة في الهيئات العامة ومواقع اتخاذ القرار.

53. In line with its general recommendation No. 29 on the economic consequences of marriage, family relations and their dissolution, the Committee recalls that identity-based personal status laws and customs perpetuate discrimination against women and that the preservation of multiple legal systems is in itself discriminatory against women.
53 - تمشيا مع توصيتها العامة رقم 29 بشأن الآثار الاقتصادية للزواج والعلاقات الأسرية وانحلالها، تشير اللجنة إلى أن القوانين والأعراف المتعلقة بالأحوال الشخصية القائمة على أساس الهوية تكرس التمييز ضد المرأة وأن الحفاظ على نظم قانونية متعددة هو في حد ذاته تمييز ضد المرأة.

HKSAR should adopt positive measures to overcome discrimination against women and should ensure equal pay for work of equal value.

There should in fact be closer collaboration between the Commission on the Status of Women and the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and greater interaction between Geneva and New York.
وينبغي أن يتوفر قدر أكبر من التعاون في حقيقة الأمر بين لجنة مركز المرأة واللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة وأن يكون هناك قدرا أكبر من التفاعل بين جنيف ونيويورك.

However, CEDAW noted, inter alia, that the new scope of action of the Anti-Discrimination and Equality Ombud may result in insufficient focus being given to discrimination against women and that the effectiveness of the new machinery for equality would be evaluated by the end of 2008.
غير أن لجنة القضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة أشارت، في جملة أمور، إلى أن النطاق الجديد لعمل أمين المظالم المعني بالمساواة ومكافحة التمييز قد يؤدي إلى عدم التركيز بصورة كافية على التمييز ضد المرأة وأن من المزمع تقييم فعالية الآلية الجديدة لضمان المساواة بحلول نهاية عام 2008(31).
