The sixteenth session of the COP and the concurrent sessions of the subsidiary bodies were attended by representatives of 192 Parties to the Convention, as well as observer states and entities, representatives of United Nations bodies and programmes, convention secretariats, and specialized agencies and institutions and related organizations of the United Nations system.
