(ii) A feedback mechanism on the results of the analysis from country Parties and other reporting entities be established.

This would include assembling the data provided by the relevant reporting entities, as well as data quality checks and, to a certain extent, the interpretation of the information provided.

14. The correct interpretation and analysis of information included in the reports from country Parties and other reporting entities requires the information provided to be broadly comparable.

(ii) To establish relevant standard procedures for the treatment of data contained in reports from Parties and other reporting entities in accordance with the above-referred guidelines;

6. According to decisions 11/COP.9 and 13/COP.9, Parties and other reporting entities will be requested to report against impact indicators, as well as the other reporting elements, in the period 2012 - 2013.

11. The analysis requires the compilation of the information provided by country Parties and other reporting entities in coherent global datasets for analytical purposes.

19. The analysis of information provided in the 2010 - 2011 reporting and review process was conducted on data and information relating to the biennium 2008 - 2009, as provided by reporting entities.
19- وقد أجري تحليل المعلومات الواردة في عملية الإبلاغ والاستعراض للفترة 2010-2011 بشأن البيانات والمعلومات المتعلقة بفترة السنتين 2008-2009، على نحو ما قدمتها الكيانات المبلَّغة.

(i) A sufficient period of time after the submission date of reports be dedicated to the compilation and quality checks of information received by reporting entities, thus enabling Convention institutions to return to these entities to consult on substantive issues;

Accordingly, the CRIC has a support role in all strategic and operational objectives of The Strategy by establishing a monitoring system and reviewing information received from Parties and other reporting entities as they implement The Strategy.

It is recommended that a sufficient period after the submission date of reports (from three to six months) be dedicated to data quality checks enabling Convention institutions to revert back to reporting entities on substantive issues.

22. This section contains an overview of the building blocks for the analysis of the information provided by country Parties and other reporting entities (see table below).
22- يتضمن هذا الفرع استعراضاً عاماً للّبنات اللازمة لتحليل المعلومات المقدمة من البلدان الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلَّغة (انظر الجدول أدناه).

(i) To implement the guidelines for the preliminary analysis of information contained in reports from Parties and other reporting entities as contained in the present document for the preliminary analysis on information starting from the 2012 - 2013 reporting and review process;
تنفيذ المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالتحليل الأولي للمعلومات الواردة في تقارير الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلَّغة على النحو الوارد في هذه الوثيقة لأغراض التحليل الأولي للمعلومات اعتباراً من بدء عملية الإبلاغ والاستعراض للفترة 2012-2013؛

14. The CRIC reviewed reports by Parties and other reporting entities and the preliminary analysis of such reports according to operational objective as provided by the secretariat.
14- واستعرضت لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية التقارير المقدمة من الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلَّغة والتحليل الأولي لهذه التقارير وفقاً للهدف التنفيذي على النحو الذي أوردته الأمانة().

2. According to decision 13/COP.9, annex III (containing the list of provisional performance indicators, their reporting attribution, baseline and targets) and annex IV (Standard Financial Annex), Parties and other reporting entities, were requested to submit reports to the CRIC in accordance with their specific mandates.
2- وفقاً للمرفق الثالث (يتضمن قائمة مؤشرات الأداء المؤقتة والجهات المكلفة بالإبلاغ والإطار المرجعي الأساسي والأهداف)، والمرفق الرابع (المرفق المالي الموحد) من المقرر 13/م أ-9، يُطلب إلى الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلَّغة تقديم تقارير إلى لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية وفقاً لولاياتها المحددة.

9. Additional feedback provided by Parties and other reporting entities including on performance indicators and other elements of the reporting process, namely the reporting timeframe, capacity-building, financing, data collection and quality control, is contained in document ICCD/CRIC(10)/11.
9- وترد في الوثيقة ICCD/CRIC(10)/11 ملاحظات إضافية قدمتها الأطراف وغيرها من الكيانات المبلَّغة بشأن مسائل منها مؤشرات الأداء وغيرها من عناصر عملية الإبلاغ، وهي تحديداً الإطار الزمني للإبلاغ، وبناء القدرات، والتمويل، وجمع البيانات، ومراقبة الجودة.

Using the reporting tools and the other facilities made available through the United Nations Environment Programme/Global Environment Facility (UNEP/GEF) global assistance project, Parties and other reporting entities submitted their reports for review at the ninth session of the CRIC.
