The second World Water Forum, held in The Hague in March this year, agreed on realistic targets for achieving major improvements in the availability of safe drinking water and basic sanitation by 2015.
لقد اتفق المحفل العالمي الثاني للمياه، المعقود في لاهاي في آذار/مارس من هذه السنة، على أهداف واقعية لتحقيق تحسينات رئيسية في توفير مياه الشرب المأمونة والصحة الأساسية بحلول عام 2015.

This approach was presented during an international conference on female genital mutilation held in The Hague in November 2009.

5. Notes with appreciation the outcome of the First Special Session of the Conference of the States Parties to Review the Operation of the Chemical Weapons Convention, convened in The Hague from 28 April to 9 May 2003, and the Political Declaration, in which the States parties reaffirm their commitment to achieving the objective and purpose of the Convention;

62. As a result of the Global Child Labour Conference, held at The Hague in 2010, an agreed Road Map for Achieving the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2016 will be used to track progress through 2016.

The matter of meeting reporting deadlines was discussed at length at a donor meeting held in The Hague in May 1998 at which time all concerned recognized the need for the timely reporting of resource flow data in order to meet UNFPA publication deadlines, while at the same time noting the difficulties in meeting those deadlines.
وقد نوقشت مسألة تلبية آجال اﻹبلاغ مناقشة مطولة في اجتماع المانحين المعقود في لاهاي في أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٨ عندما سلم الجميع بضرورة تقديم بيانات تدفق الموارد في الوقت المناسب لاحترام مواعيد صياغة منشورات صندوق اﻷمم المتحدة للسكان، ولوحظت في الوقت نفسه صعوبات احترام تلك اﻵجال.

It participated in all the major international meetings in that connection, such as the review conferences of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, including that of 1995 and that of 2000 chaired by Algeria, the Chemical Weapons Convention Review Conference held in The Hague in 2002 and the conferences to promote the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty held regularly pursuant to article XIV of that Treaty.
فقد كانت طرفا فاعلا في جميع اللقاءات الدولية المهمة في هذا الإطار، من قبيل مؤتمرات استعراض معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية، ولا سيما مؤتمري استعراض هذه المعاهدة لعام 1995 ولعام 2000 الذي ترأسته الجزائر، ومؤتمر استعراض اتفاقية حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية المعقود في لاهاي في سنة 2002، ومؤتمرات تعزيز معاهدة الحظر الشامل للتجارب النووية التي تُعقد بصورة منتظمة وفقا للمادة الرابعة عشرة من هذه المعاهدة.
