During his visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Special Rapporteur was impressed with the work of the Medical Centre for Rehabilitation of Torture Victims in Chisinau, which had managed to inform, train and mobilize lawyers, journalists and other professionals in order to support victims and disseminate information about cases of torture, both within the country and abroad.
وأُعجب المقرر الخاص، أثناء زيارته لجمهورية مولدوفا، بالعمل الذي يضطلع به مركز شيزيناو الطبي لإعادة تأهيل ضحايا التعذيب، الذي تمكن من توعية المحامين والصحافيين ومختصين آخرين وتدريبهم وتعبئتهم من أجل دعم الضحايا ونشر المعلومات المتعلقة بحالات التعذيب، داخل البلد وخارجه.

If a Government is willing to disclose all information CONCERNING past disappearances and to carry out the necessary investigations to establish the truth, such measures usually also provide certain guarantees of non-repetition.
