وبمثل ما أكد عليه اﻷمين العام لمنظمتنا عن حق في تقريره الذي أشرت إليه آنفا، إن بوروندي تُعد تحديــا فريــدا يواجه المجتمع الدولي الذي يجب أن يعترف بالتزامه اﻷخلاقي بكفالة عدم تكرر المأساة الرواندية على نطاق مماثل أو أكبر في بوروندي.
