109. The SBI and the SBSTA welcomed the updated handbook Conducting Technology Needs Assessments for Climate Change (hereinafter referred to as the TNA handbook), jointly prepared by UNDP and the secretariat in collaboration with the EGTT and the Climate Technology Initiative.
109- ورحبت الهيئتان الفرعيتان بالطبعة المحدثة للدليل المعنون " تقييم الاحتياجات من التكنولوجيا في مجال تغيُّر المناخ " (يشار إليه فيما يلي بدليل التقييم)() التي شارك في إعدادها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والأمانة، بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ.

The SBSTA welcomed the offer of the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI), in collaboration with the EGTT, the secretariat and relevant international organizations, to organize up to three regional workshops on technology needs assessments and technology information in 2003 and 2004;

To encourage the organization of training programmes and workshops by the secretariat in collaboration with the EGTT and relevant national, regional and international organizations for building capacity of experts in the creation of their national technology information databases;
(و) تشجيع قيام الأمانة، بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا والمنظمات الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية ذات الصلة، بتنظيم برامج تدريبية وحلقات عمل من أجل بناء قدرات الخبراء في مجال إنشاء قواعد بياناتهم الوطنية للمعلومات المتعلقة بالتكنولوجيا؛

The SBSTA also noted a technical paper commissioned by the secretariat on innovative options for financing the development and transfer of technologies (FCCC/TP/2006/1) and the launch of A guidebook on preparing technology transfer projects for financing by the secretariat in collaboration with the EGTT.
76- كما لاحظت الهيئة الفرعية إعداد تقرير تقني طلبته الأمانة بشأن الخيارات الابتكارية لتمويل تطوير التكنولوجيات ونقلها (FCCC/TP/2006/1) وصدور دليل بشأن إعداد مشاريع نقل التكنولوجيا من أجل تمويلها، الذي أصدرته الأمانة بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا.

The SBSTA welcomed the updated handbook Conducting Technology Needs Assessments for Climate Change, jointly prepared by the United Nations Development Programme and the secretariat in cooperation with the EGTT and the Climate Technology Initiative.
28- ورحبت الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية بالطبعة المحدثة للدليل المعنون " إجراء تقييمات للاحتياجات من التكنولوجيا في مجال تغيُّر المناخ " ()، التي شارك في إعدادها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والأمانة بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ.

The SBSTA, taking into consideration the activities identified for immediate follow-up, as contained in document FCCC/SBSTA/2006/INF.8, paragraph 57, on the need to undertake specific follow-up activities, requested the secretariat, in collaboration with the EGTT, subject to the availability of resources during the next six months:
