In the light of general comment No. 34 (2011) on freedoms of opinion and expression, the State party should review its legislation to ensure that any restriction on press and media activities is in strict compliance with article 19, paragraph 3, of the Covenant.
في ضوء تعليق اللجنة العام رقم 34(2011) بشأن حرية الرأي وحرية التعبير، ينبغي للدولة الطرف أن تراجع تشريعاتها من أجل ضمان تماشي أية قيود تفرض على أنشطة الصحافة ووسائط الإعلام تماشيا تاما مع أحكام الفقرة 3 من المادة 19 من العهد.
