I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the Panel's valuable work and dedicated contribution to the study. I. Background
وأود أن أعرب عن خالص تقديري للفريق لما قام به من عمل قيّم وما قدمه من مساهمة متفانية في إعداد الدراسة.

1. Welcomes the valuable work and commitment of Mr. Jean Ziegler during his tenure as the first mandate-holder to achieving the realization of the right to food;
1- يرحب بما اضطلع به السيد جان زيغلر من عمل قيّم وبما أظهره من التزام أثناء شغله منصبه بصفته صاحب الولاية الأول من أجل إعمال الحق في الغذاء؛

The Standing Committee has carried out a valuable work programme and has served, in its four sessions, as a useful forum to deal with various commodity-related aspects of international trade and development.
٠١- وقد اضطلعت اللجنة الدائمة ببرنامج عمل قيّم وعملت، في دوراتها اﻷربع، بوصفها محفلا مفيدا لمعالجة شتى جوانب التجارة والتنمية الدوليتين المتصلة بالسلع اﻷساسية.

The work of the Working Groups was valuable for identifying promising new approaches and improving the system of international trade law.
ورأى أن العمل الذي تؤديه الأفرقة العاملة عمل قيّم لأنه يكشف السُبل الجديدة الواعدة ويحسِّن نظام القانون التجاري الدولي.

It also provides a valuable platform for cooperation among diamond-producing countries.
كما أنه يوفر إطار عمل قيّم للتعاون بين البلدان المنتجة للماس.

At the 2nd meeting, on 15 December, the Chair thanked the Vice-Chair, the Rapporteur and the facilitators who had assisted him throughout the year for their valuable work.
21- في الجلسة الثانية المعقودة في 15 كانون الأول/ديسمبر، أعرب الرئيس عن شكره لنائب الرئيس والمقررة والميسرين لما قدموه له من مساعدة طوال السنة ولما اضطلعوا به من عمل قيّم.

7. Takes note with appreciation of the report of the Special Rapporteur on the right to food, submitted in accordance with Commission resolution 2000/10 (E/CN.4/2001/53), and commends the Special Rapporteur for his valuable work in the promotion of the right to food;
7- تحيط علماً مع التقدير بتقرير المقرر الخاص المعني بالحق في الغذاء، المقدم وفقاً لقرار اللجنة 2000/10 (E/CN.4/2001/53)، وتثني على المقرر الخاص لما قام به من عمل قيّم في تعزيز الحق في الغذاء؛

3. Expresses its thanks to the Commissioner-General and to all the staff of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, recognizing that the Agency is doing all it can within the limits of available resources, and also expresses its thanks to the specialized agencies and to private organizations for their valuable work in assisting refugees;
3 - تعرب عن شكرها للمفوض العام ولجميع موظفي وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الشرق الأدنى ، مدركة أن الوكالة تبذل كل ما في وسعها في حدود الموارد المتاحة لها، كما تعرب عن شكرها للوكالات المتخصصة والمنظمات الخاصة لما تقوم به من عمل قيّم في مجال مساعدة اللاجئين؛

8. Takes note with appreciation of the report of the Special Rapporteur on the right to food (E/CN.4/2002/58 and Add.1), and commends the Special Rapporteur for his valuable work in promoting the right to food;
8- تحيط علماً مع التقدير بتقريـر المقـرر الخاص المعنـي بالحـق في الغذاء، (E/CN.4/2002/58 وAdd.1)، وتثني على المقرر الخاص لما قام به من عمل قيّم في تعزيز الحق في الغذاء؛

3. 1- ترحب بتقرير المقرر الخاص المعني بمسألة استخدام المرتزقة كوسيلة لإعاقة ممارسة حق الشعوب في تقرير المصير (E/CN.4/2004/15)، وتثني على السيد إنريكه برناليس بالستيروس لما قام به من عمل قيّم وما قدّمه من مساهمات في اضطلاعه بولايته منذ ست عشرة سنة؛

Since its inception, the Kimberley Process has enabled closer interaction between participants, observers, applicants and various organizations, providing a valuable platform to consolidate the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, as well as to explore ways and means of curbing the flow of illicit diamonds.
إنّ عملية كيمبرلي، ومنذ إنشائها، قد أتاحت التفاعل الوثيق بين المشاركين والمراقبين ومقدمي طلبات الانضمام والمنظمات المختلفة، وقدمت إطار عمل قيّم لتعزيز نظام عملية كيمبرلي لإصدار شهادات المنشأ، وأيضا لاستكشاف الطرق والوسائل للحد من تدفق الماس غير المشروع.
