25. Prior to the processing pause, the approval rate of goods review list items by the Committee remained relatively low, at 11.8 per cent.

The remaining applications had been in various stages of goods review list processing or had been considered null and void when the processing pause came into effect on 14 April.

22. In accordance with resolution 1409 (2002), UNMOVIC experts had been reviewing and assessing contracts with Iraq under the oil-for-food programme against the criteria contained in the goods review list and its amendments.

5. Requests the Secretary-General, in consultation with interested parties, to submit an assessment report on the implementation of the Goods review list and its procedures 14 days before the end of the 180-day period referred to in paragraph 1 above and to include in the report recommendations on any necessary revision of the Goods review list and its procedures;
5 - يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم، بالتشاور مع الأطراف المهتمة بالأمر، تقريرا تقييميا عن تنفيذ قائمة استعراض السلع وإجراءاتها قبل 14 يوما من انتهاء فترة الـ 180 يوما المشار إليها في الفقرة 1 أعلاه وأن يضمّن التقرير توصيات بشأن أي تنقيحات قد يلزم إدخالها على قائمة استعراض السلع وإجراءاتها؛

Military goods and services are prohibited for sale or supply to Iraq under paragraph 24 of resolution 687 (1991) and are not subject to review under the goods review list.
السلع والخدمات العسكرية المحظور بيعها أو توريدها للعراق بموجب الفقرة 24 من القرار 687 (1991)، وليست خاضعة للاستعراض بمقتضى قائمة استعراض السلع.

20. With the passage of resolution 1409 (2002), which adopted the revised goods review list (S/2002/515) and revised procedures for its application, the role of UNMOVIC has been widened.
