During the first half of 1993 a total of 281 cases of detention without trial were reported under the Public Safety Act of 1953 and section 29 of the Internal Security Act.

112. The Occupational Safety Act also applies with certain limitations to work done by an employee at home.
٢١١ - وينطبق قانون السلامة المهنية أيضا، مع بعض القيود، على العمل الذي ينجزه مستخدم في البيت.

The regulations of the Occupational Safety Act, such as those on the general obligations of the employer and the employee, as well as on the working environment and the planning of the working environment, also apply to such work.
كما تنطبق على هذا العمل أحكام قانون السلامة المهنية كاﻷحكام المتعلقة بالالتزامات العامة لصاحب العمل والمستخدم وكذلك اﻷحكام المتعلقة ببيئة العمل وتخطيط هذه البيئة.

Regrets are expressed that the National Security Act and, in some areas of India, the Public Safety Act, remain in force.
٣٥٩ - وتعرب اللجنة عن اﻷسف لاستمرار نفاذ قانون اﻷمن القومي ولاستمرار نفاذ قانون السلامة العامة أيضا في بعض مناطق الهند.

Article 43 of the Law on Safety and Health at Work stipulates, that the work of the enterprises should be suspended on days stipulated in the Law on Public Holidays.
241- تنص المادة 43 من قانون السلامة والصحة أثناء العمل على أنه ينبغي تعليق عمل المؤسسات في الأيام المنصوص عليها بموجب قانون العطل الوطنية.

Article 57 of the Law on Safety and Health at Work stipulates that in certain fields of economic activities special regulations concerning the work and rest time shall be defined.
244- تنص المادة 57 من قانون السلامة والصحة أثناء العمل على أنه يتعين تحديد تشريعات خاصة بشأن أوقات العمل والاستراحة في بعض مجالات الأنشطة الاقتصادية.

The peculiarities of work and rest in the aforementioned enterprises are provided taking into consideration the conventions and recommendations of the International Labour Organization, other international legal acts, articles 44 and 57 of the Law on Safety and Health at Work, as well as the season of the year, the seasonality of the work and other specific working conditions.
وتوفر الخصائص المميزة للعمل والاستراحة في المؤسسات المذكورة آنفاً مع الأخذ بنظر الاعتبار الاتفاقيات والتوصيات التي وضعتها منظمة العمل الدولية والإجراءات القانونية الدولية الأخرى والمادتين 44 و57 من قانون السلامة والصحة أثناء العمل، فضلاً عن موسم العام وموسمية العمل وغير ذلك من شروط العمل الخاصة.
