The consensus reached at the meeting was reflected in a document (E/CN.7/1998/PC/4) that was transmitted to all Governments under cover of a note verbale from the Secretary-General dated 17 December 1997.
وانعكس توافق اﻵراء الذي تم التوصل اليه في الاجتماع في وثيقة (E/CN.7/1998/PC/4) أحيلت الى جميع الحكومات مرفقة بمذكرة شفوية موجهة من اﻷمين العام ومؤرخة ٧١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٧٩٩١ .

(d) That, periodically, the secretariat will compile a list of those non-governmental organizations seeking accreditation which have met the requirements specified in Council resolution 1996/31; the secretariat will circulate these lists to all Governments with a note verbale, giving the Governments 14 days to make any comments on the application;
(د) أن تضع الأمانة دورياً قائمة بالمنظمات غير الحكومية التي تطلب اعتماد وثائق تـفويضها، والتي تكون قد استوفت الشروط المحددة في قرار المجلس 1996/31؛ وسوف تعمم الأمانة هذه القوائم على جميع الحكومات مرفقة بمذكرة شفوية تمهل الحكومات 14 يوماً لإبداء أية تعليقات عن الطلب؛

The list was forwarded to all 189 Member States and relevant international organizations, together with a note by the Chairman of the Committee dated 11 October 2001, requesting them to inform the Committee of the action they had taken with respect to the list in the light of the relevant provisions of resolutions 1127 (1997) and 1173 (1998), which imposed representation, travel and financial sanctions.
