The Prosecutor General is appointed by the President of the Republic of Poland for a six-year term and is selected from among candidates proposed by the National Council of the Judiciary and the National Council of Prosecutors.

(ب) طلب من المفوضة السامية لحقوق الإنسان التعاون، على سبيل المتابعة للمؤتمر، مع خمسة خبراء بارزين ومستقلين، واحد من كل منطقة، يعينهم الأمين العام من بين مرشحين يقترحهم رئيس لجنة حقوق الإنسان، بعد التشاور مع المجموعات الإقليمية، لمتابعة تنفيذ أحكام الإعلان وبرنامج العمل.

17. Paragraph 191 (b) of the Programme of Action requested my Office to cooperate with five independent eminent experts, one from each region, appointed by the SecretaryGeneral from among candidates proposed by the Chairperson of the Commission on Human Rights, after consultation with the regional groups, to follow the implementation of the provisions of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.
17- طلبت الفقرة 191(ب) من برنامج العمل إلى المفوضية التعاون مع خمسة خبراء بارزين مستقلين، واحد من كل منطقة، يعينهم الأمين العام من بين مرشحين يقترحهم رئيس لجنة حقوق الإنسان بعد التشاور مع المجموعات الإقليمية، لمتابعة تنفيذ أحكام إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان.

In paragraph 14 of the draft resolution, the General Assembly requests the High Commissioner to cooperate with five independent eminent experts, one from each region, to follow the implementation of the provisions of the Declaration and Programme of Action. The eminent persons would be appointed by the Secretary-General from among candidates proposed by the Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights, after consultation with the regional groups.
ففي الفقرة 14 من مشروع القرار A/C.3/56/L.84 طلبت الجمعية العامة من المفوضة السامية أن تتعاون مع خمسة خبراء بارزين مستقلين، أي خبير واحد من كل منطقة، لمتابعة تنفيذ أحكام الإعلان وبرنامج العمل، وسيقوم الأمين العام بتعيين هؤلاء الأشخاص البارزين من بين مرشحين يقترحهم رئيس لجنة حقوق الإنسان، بعد مشاورات تجرى مع المجموعات الإقليمية.
