The Council also approved the Commission's request to the Special Representative to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-fifth session and to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session, in accordance with his mandate, and its request to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to provide the Special Representative with such financial assistance as he may require to discharge his mandate.

The Council also endorsed the Commission's request to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to provide all necessary resources for the effective fulfilment of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur. "
