A recently enacted law (law No. 23 of 2003) amending the Civil Status and Civil Registration Act contains the following provisions:
وقد صدر مؤخراً القانون رقم 23 لسنة 2003 بشأن الأحوال المدنية والسجل المدني على النحو التالي:

Upon completion, the House of Justice in Tbilisi and three other cities will be able to provide unified services for the national public registry, the civil registry, notary publics and other authorities in one office, thereby significantly simplifying administrative processes.
وبعد الانتهاء من إقامة دور العدالة في تبيليسي وثلاث مدن أخرى، ستكون قادرة على تقديم خدمات موحّدة في مكتب واحد للسجل العام الوطني والسجل المدني وكُتّاب العدل وسلطات أخرى، وتبسّط من ثم الإجراءات الإدارية بشكل كبير.

Article 10 of the above-mentioned Act states that every child is entitled to his or her own name, which must be registered at birth, in accordance with the Civil Status and Civil Register Act.

18. Articles 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30 of the Civil Status and Civil Registration Act stipulate that the child's birth must be registered by notifying the Civil Status Department within 60 days from his or her date of birth.
٨١- وفي قانون اﻷحوال المدنية والسجل المدني شملت المواد ٠٢ و١٢ و٣٢ و٥٢ و٦٢ و٧٢ و٩٢ و٠٣ ضرورة تسجيل الطفل بعد ولادته بناء على تبليغ عن الوليد إلى إدارة اﻷحوال المدنية خلال ستين يوماً من الولادة.

The Statistical Division has also been working in close collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Institute for Vital Registration and Statistics, and UNFPA in implementing an international programme for accelerating and improving vital statistics and Civil Registration systems.

Article 1. Articles 21, 47, 61 and 62 of the republican decree containing law No. 48 of 1991 concerning civil status and Civil Registration are amended as follows:
المادة 1- تعدل المواد 21 و47 و61 و62، من القرار الجمهوري بالقانون رقم 23 لسنة 1991 بشأن الأحوال المدنية والسجل المدني على النحو التالي:

Lastly, an agreement was recently signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the civil registry Office which provides that passport-issuing offices in Ecuador, immigration officials and about 60 Ecuadorian consulates abroad may check the identity of Ecuadorian citizens by consulting the civil registry databases.

Article 49 of the Civil Status and Civil Register Act requires every citizen of the Republic of Yemen, upon reaching the age of 16, to obtain a personal identity card or a family card, if that person is the head of a family. Article 11 of the Children's Rights Act affirms that every child is entitled to a nationality under the Act and the laws in force.
276- وأقر قانون الأحوال المدنية والسجل المدني في المادة 49 بأنه يجب على كل شخص من مواطني الجمهورية اليمنية متى بلغ السادسة عشر من عمره أن يحصل على بطاقة شخصية أو بطاقة عائلية إذا أصبح رب أسرة، وأكدت المادة 11 من قانون حقوق الطفل أن لكل طفل الحق بأن يكون لـه جنسية وفقاً لأحكام هذا القانون والقوانين النافذة.
