Welcoming the efforts of the Secretary-General and the Royal Government of Cambodia to conclude the negotiation of the draft agreement between the United Nations and the Royal Government of Cambodia concerning the Prosecution under Cambodian Law of Crimes Committed during the Period of Democratic Kampuchea contained in the annex to the present resolution,

1. Approves the draft agreement between the United Nations and the Royal Government of Cambodia concerning the Prosecution under Cambodian Law of Crimes Committed during the Period of Democratic Kampuchea contained in the annex to the present resolution;
1 - توافق على مشروع الاتفاق بين الأمم المتحدة والحكومة الملكية لكمبوديا بشأن المقاضاة بموجب القانون الكمبودي على الجرائم المرتكبة خلال فترة نظام كمبودتشيا الديمقراطية الوارد في مرفق هذا القرار؛

2. Urges the Secretary-General and the Royal Government of Cambodia to take all the measures necessary to allow the draft agreement referred to in paragraph 1 to enter into force, and to implement it fully after its entry into force;
2 - تحث الأمين العام والحكومة الملكية الكمبودية على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لإتاحة بدء نفاذ مشروع الاتفاق المشار إليه في الفقرة 1 وتطبيقه بالكامل بعد بدء نفاذه؛

On behalf of the people and the Royal Government of Cambodia, I would like to express very sincere gratitude to the competent authorities of those countries and to the organization to which I referred for their praiseworthy assistance aimed at the restitution of cultural property to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

2. By a letter dated 2 November 2004, the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Nations has now provided the Organization with an original copy of an Instrument of Ratification of the Agreement between the United Nations and the Royal Government of Cambodia, done on 19 October 2004.
