25. During the World Urban Forum, a round-table meeting of parliamentarians was organized by Global Parliamentarians on Habitat on climate change and human settlements.

A working group on Habitat III, established by the steering committee of the World Urban Campaign in September 2012, met in April and September 2013, as well as during the seventh session of the World Urban Forum, to reflect on past conferences, initiate a strategy and draft a position on their vision of cities and human settlements in the twenty-first century.
