No new information was received by the Secretariat, although requests were received for clarification of the interpretation of Annex IX and for assistance in controlling wastes listed in Annex IX from some industries, for example those originating in Israel, Morocco and Pakistan.
ولم تتلق الأمانة أية معلومات جديدة، رغم تلقيها طلبات تستوضح تفسير المرفق التاسع، وطلبات للمساعدة في توفير الرقابة على النفايات المدرجة في المرفق التاسع والناتجة من بعض الصناعات، ومنها نفايات الصناعات في إسرائيل والمغرب وباكستان.

Introducing the sub-item, the President recalled that at its eighth meeting the Conference of the Parties had adopted a revised procedure for the review or adjustment of the lists of wastes listed in Annexes VIII and IX to the Basel Convention, including applications for the addition of new entries to those lists.
75 - أشار الرئيس، عند تقديمه لهذا البند الفرعي، إلى أن مؤتمر الأطراف كان قد اعتمد في اجتماعه الثامن إجراءً منقحاً لاستعراض أو تعديل قوائم النفايات المدرجة في المرفقين الثامن والتاسع لاتفاقية بازل، بما في ذلك طلبات إضافة قيودات جديدة إلى هذه القوائم.

It should be noted that Parties that do not currently use H13 to characterize the hazardous nature of wastes frequently refer to H 6.1 (acute poisonous) or H11 (chronic or delayed toxicity) as the hazard characteristic attributed to the types of wastes listed in paragraph V.28.

For example, table 2 shows that Bahrain ticked " no control procedure " for all wastes listed in Annex IX (List B) of the Basel Convention, while Poland ticked " PIC procedures " for B2, B3 and B4 wastes.
