6.2 The Committee notes the State party's argument that the central incident of the author's redundancy took place on 10 July 2006 and that all judicial hearings examining the facts of the author's redundancy took place before the entry into force of the Optional Protocol on 6 September 2009.

4. In the light of the entry into force of the Optional Protocol on 5 May 2013, the Advisory Committee enquired as to why the additional resources were not included in the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2014-2015.
