8. At the 4th meeting, on 13 April, the keynote speaker, Carissa F. Etienne, Assistant Director-General for Health Systems and Services at the World Health Organization, addressed the Commission on the theme " Strengthening health systems to address current and future challenges in public health " , and responded to questions raised by the representatives of Japan and Israel and the observer for Norway.
