Those findings, being of particular relevance, were presented to the Working Group on Firearms at its second meeting.
٢١- وقُدِّمت تلك النتائج، نظراً لما تحظى به من أهمية خاصة، إلى الفريق العامل المعني بالأسلحة النارية في اجتماعه الثاني.

The present report contains a summary of the work conducted as well as the recommendations adopted by the second meeting of the Working Group on Firearms, and was prepared by the Chair of that meeting, in cooperation with the Secretariat.

II. Activities of the Working Group on Firearms
ثانياً- أنشطة الفريق العامل المعني بالأسلحة النارية

The Conference may wish to consider initiating discussions regarding a possible workplan for the future meetings of the Working Group on Firearms.
لعلَّ المؤتمر يودُّ أن ينظر في استهلال مناقشات حول إمكانية وضع خطة عمل لاجتماعات الفريق العامل المعني بالأسلحة النارية في المستقبل.

The meeting of the Working Group on Firearms will be opened on 26 May 2014 at 10 a.m.
سيُفتَتَح اجتماع الفريق العامل المعني بالأسلحة النارية في 26 أيار/مايو 2014، الساعة 00/10.

That document will contain proposals for practical measures to facilitate the implementation of relevant recommendations made by the Working Group on Firearms at its first meeting.
وسوف تتضمَّن تلك الوثيقة مقترحات بشأن تدابير عملية لتسهيل تنفيذ ما قدَّمه الفريق العامل المعني بالأسلحة النارية في اجتماعه الأول من توصيات ذات صلة.

The Conference also decided that the Chair of the Working Group on Firearms should submit to the Conference, at its sixth session, the report of the Working Group on its activities.

It is also relevant to recall that, in 2001, the Working Group on Firearms and ammunition of MERCOSUR and its associated States was established in order to share national experiences, harmonize national laws on firearms and ammunition control and coordinate political positions on the issue.

At the subregional level, we have participated in the Working Group on Firearms of MERCOSUR and Associated States.

Finally, the Conference requested the Working Group on Firearms to continue advising and assisting the Conference in the implementation of its mandate, decided that the Working Group should hold at least one intersessional meeting and requested the Secretariat to assist the Working Group in the performance of its functions.

Representatives of the Italian National Association of Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers participated, as part of the Italian delegation to the Working Group on Firearms in May 2014, and delivered presentations during the panel discussions on illicit manufacturing.
