Three of the four co-chairs of the Methyl Bromide Technical Options Committee, Mr. Mohamed Besri, Mr. Ian Porter, and Ms. Michelle Marcotte, provided a detailed presentation on the Committee's findings in respect of the critical-use nominations for 2012 and 2013.

With regard to the 36 critical use nominations granted interim approval by decision XVI/2, totalling 3045.028 metric tonnes, MBTOC reassessed the nominations on the basis of the original application and further information provided, taking into account the pertinent decisions.
