٣ ـ تطلب الى مركز حقوق اﻹنسان إتمام استعراضه الشامل لبرنامج الاعلام والمنشورات في ميدان حقوق اﻹنسان، بما في ذلك وضع استراتيجية اعلامية جديدة على نحو ما ورد وصفه في تقرير اﻷمين العام، وان يجري تقييما لفعالية هذا البرنامج، وتشجع المركز على مواصلة جهوده في سبيل صقل برنامج منشوراته وتركيزه ؛

In this connection, the Advisory Committee recommends that the Centre re-examine, as a matter of priority and in conjunction with the restructuring of its programme of work, its publications programme for the purpose of ensuring that all publications fulfil an identifiable need and are produced in a cost-effective manner.
وفي هذا الصدد، توصي اللجنة بأن يقوم المركز، على سبيل اﻷولوية، وبالاقتران مع إعادة تشكيل برنامج عمله، بإعادة النظر في برنامج منشوراته لكي يضمن أن جميع المنشورات تفي بحاجة يمكن تحديدها وأنها تصدر بأسلوب فعال من حيث التكاليف.

٤ - تطلب الى مركز حقوق الانسان أن يُتم، بالتعاون مع إدارة شؤون اﻹعلام، استعراضه الشامل لبرنامج اﻹعلام والمنشورات في ميدان حقوق الانسان، بما فيه وضع استراتيجية إعلامية جديدة، وأن يجري تقييما لفعالية هذا البرنامج، وتشجع المركز على مواصلة جهوده في سبيل صقل برنامج منشوراته وتركيزه؛

3. The Accra Accord provides, inter alia, that UNCTAD should update and improve its publications policy, and streamline its publications programme taking into consideration the needs of developing countries and the requirements identified in the intergovernmental process.
