28. At the 4th meeting, the Chair summarized the progress achieved by the AWG-KP at the second part of its sixteenth session.

7. The Chair further proposes that contact groups on the following issues be established, bearing in mind the agreement reached by the AWG-KP at its resumed ninth session on the time allotted to each group:

In order to make progress in its work under paragraph 20 above, the AWG-KP requested the secretariat to prepare for consideration by the AWG-KP at its twelfth session:

In this regard, the Chair intends to include in his proposal elements on all aspects of the work of the AWG-KP in the form a draft decision, aimed at substantially advancing the work of the group.
