21. In other developments, the fifteenth meeting of the Commission for Defence and Security of the Council for Peace and Security in Central Africa (COPAX) was held on 1 and 2 July in Pointe-Noire, the Congo.

The Panel shall advise the PSC and the Chairperson of the AU Commission on all issues pertaining to the promotion, and maintenance of peace, security and stability in Africa.
