In order to accelerate progress in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals, in its resolution 62/206 the Assembly urged multilateral donors and international financial institutions to review and implement policies to support national efforts to ensure that a higher proportion of resources reach women, in particular in rural and remote areas.
ولتسريع وتيرة التقدم المحرز نحو تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، حثت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 62/206 الجهات المانحة المتعددة الأطراف والمؤسسات المالية الدولية على استعراض وتنفيذ سياسات لدعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى كفالة وصول نسبة أكبر من الموارد إلى المرأة، وبخاصة في المناطق الريفية والنائية.
