6. takes note of the recommendation of the Committee that the Economic and Social Council build on the internationally agreed goals, the Millennium Development Goals, after 2015, by fashioning a global agenda on social protection, especially for vulnerable populations and new categories of exclusion, and a closer link with the development agenda;
6 - يحيط علما بتوصية اللجنة بأن يستند المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي بعد عام 2015 إلى الأهداف المتفق عليها دوليا، أي الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، وذلك بوضع خطة عالمية للحماية الاجتماعية، وخصوصا للفئات السكانية الضعيفة والفئات الجديدة من المحرومين، وإقامة صلة أوثق مع خطة التنمية؛

2. takes note of the recommendation of the Secretary-General, contained in paragraph 67 of his report, concerning the efforts the Institute can make in laying the groundwork for more efficient training and research service provision within the United Nations system;

2. takes note of the recommendation of the Secretary-General, contained in paragraph 67 of his report, concerning the important role that the Institute can play in laying the groundwork for more efficient training and research service provision within the United Nations system;

11. takes note of the recommendation of the Secretary-General for BINUCA to strengthen its field presence as security conditions permit and, in this regard, expresses its intention to swiftly consider the Secretary-General's proposals for the protection of United Nations personnel and installations, including the possible establishment of a guard unit and requests the Secretary-General to provide details in this regard;
11 - يحيط علما بتوصية الأمين العام بأن يعزز مكتب الأمم المتحدة المتكامل وجوده الميداني حسبما تسمح به الظروف الأمنية، وفي هذا الصدد يعرب عن اعتزامه النظر بسرعة في اقتراحات الأمين العام المتعلقة بحماية موظفي الأمم المتحدة ومنشآتها، بما فيها إمكانية إنشاء قوة للحراسة، ويطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم معلوماتٍ مفصلة في هذا الصدد؛

3. takes note of the recommendation by the Secretary-General for a troop ceiling increase and expresses its intention to consider authorizing it as soon as further progress has been achieved and the steps referred to in paragraph 12 of resolution 1376 (2001) of 9 November 2001 have been taken;
3 - يحيط علما بتوصية الأمين العام بزيادة الحد الأقصى للقوات ويعرب عن عزمه النظر في أن يأذن بذلك بمجرد تحقق مزيد من التقدم وبمجرد اتخاذ الخطوات المشار إليها في الفقرة 12 من القرار 1376 (2001) المؤرخ 9 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2001؛

4. takes note of the recommendation of the Secretary-General to temporarily maintain until 15 February 2007 the capabilities referred to in paragraph 3 above, and expresses its intention to re-examine this issue before 31 December 2006 with a view to ensuring that MONUC has adequate capabilities to perform its mandate fully until the date referred to in paragraph 1;
