Since 1992, some countries have made progress on a path towards implementing the recommended actions at the national and local levels through the adoption of integrated approaches to Freshwater Management.

Supporting the efforts of Governments in the preparation and implementation of integrated management of freshwater systems and their related coastal and marine environments;

Consequently, the priority to be accorded to the social dimension of freshwater management is of fundamental importance.
وبالتالي تعد اﻷولوية التي يجب إيلاؤها للبعد الاجتماعي ﻹدارة المياه العذبة في غاية اﻷهمية.
