As stated at the beginning of the report, the Sultanate has held a number of seminars and lectures with a view to eradicating legal illiteracy in rural areas and advising women of the rights guaranteed to them under Omani law. 212- مثلما سبقت الإشارة إليه في أول التقرير، فلقد عقدت السلطنة عددا من الندوات والمحاضرات التوعوية بهدف محو الأمية القانونية في المناطق الريفية لتبصير النساء بحقوقهن التي تكفلها لهن التشريعات العمانية وجار العمل في تنفيذ البرامج التوعوية للنساء والرجال بهذه الاتفاقية في جميع أنحاء السلطنة.
