Under the Immigration Act no person shall land in The Bahamas from any place outside or embark in the Bahamas from any destination outside The Bahamas save with the leave of any immigration officer and elsewhere than at an authorized port or at such other place as an immigration officer may allow.

Paragraph 5 of the Order prohibits the provision or acquisition by any person in The Bahamas or any Bahamian outside The Bahamas of financial services or any other services to, from or for the benefit of or on the direction or order of the territory of Afghanistan under Taliban control; Usama bin Laden or the Al-Qaida organization.

Section 3(2) of the Act provides that orders and regulations may be made pursuant to paragraph (1)(a) with respect to the restriction or prohibition of any of the following activities, whether carried out in or outside The Bahamas, in relation to a foreign state:
وتنص المـادة 3 (2) من القانــون على أنه يجوز إصدار أوامر، وقواعد عملا بالفقرة 1 (أ)، بغرض تقييد أو حظر أي من الأنشطة التالية المتعلقة بدولة أجنبية، سواء تمت خارج جزر البهاما أو داخلها:

A person born outside The Bahamas after 9th July 1973 shall become a citizen of The Bahamas at the date of his birth if at that date his father is a citizen of The Bahamas otherwise than by virtue of this Article (Section) or Article 3(2) of this Constitution.
المادة 8 - أي شخص يولد خارج جزر البهاما بعد 9 تموز/يوليه 1973 يصبح مواطنا لجزر البهاما في تاريخ مولده إذا كان والده في ذلك التاريخ مواطنا لجزر البهاما عن طريق خلاف هذه المادة أو المادة 3 (2) من هذا الدستور.

The Loans and Scholarships Division of the Ministry of Education is responsible for the administration of scholarships and loans to students pursuing studies at accredited tertiary institutions outside The Bahamas as well as accredited tertiary institutions in the Bahamas (excluding the College of the Bahamas).

The Mechanism has taken note of the details provided by the authorities of the Bahamas to the effect that the International Act 1989 under which the Corporation is formed does not allow the company to conduct business in the Bahamas; in addition, all of its transactions are conducted outside The Bahamas and all of its records are kept outside The Bahamas.

Export Control Regulations - The Export Control Regulations Act and the Export Control Regulations empower the Minister of Finance, to make such regulations, as he deems necessary for the purpose of controlling or prohibiting the export from The Bahamas to any place outside The Bahamas of goods or any class of goods, and the trans-shipment within The Bahamas of goods or any class of goods consigned to a place outside The Bahamas.

(a) any dealing by any person in The Bahamas or Bahamian outside The Bahamas in any property wherever situated held by or on behalf of that foreign state, any person in that foreign state, or a national of that foreign state who does not ordinarily reside in The Bahamas;
(أ) أي تعامل يقوم به أي شخص في جزر البهاما أو أي مواطن من مواطني جزر البهاما الموجودين خارج جزر البهاما فيما يتعلق بأي ممتلكات، أيا كان مكان وجودها، تكون تحت سيطرة تلك الدولة الأجنبية، أو سيطرة تتم نيابة عن تلك الدولة الأجنبية، أو أي شخص في تلك الدولة الأجنبية، أو أحد رعايا تلك الدولة الأجنبية من غير المقيمين عادة في جزر البهاما؛

(b) the exportation, sale, supply or shipment by any person in The Bahamas or Bahamian outside The Bahamas of any goods wherever situated to that foreign state, or any other dealing by any person in The Bahamas or Bahamian outside The Bahamas in any goods wherever situated destined for that foreign state or any person in that foreign state;
